Motor City West - PBL- Est. 2014
The Court Runners Basketball Franchise was built from the culture, competition, and brotherhood created through years of playing the game together. The name “Court Runners” originated when the team needed an identity for the PBL, inspired by the countless days spent traveling from court to court with friends and brothers, competing and taking over games wherever they played.
What started as a simple name quickly became a representation of passion, toughness, and love for basketball. Court Runners embodies the spirit of players who are willing to compete anywhere, against anyone, while building lifelong bonds through the game. The franchise represents loyalty, community, and the grind of earning respect on every court stepped onto.

Philosophy
At Court Runners, our philosophy is centered around winning basketball. We expect every player to make the right plays, compete with intelligence, and put the team above individual success. Effort, discipline, and unselfishness are the foundation of how we play.
Our standard is simple: give 110% on both ends of the floor every possession. Whether it is defense, hustle plays, communication, or executing under pressure, we believe success comes from consistency, toughness, and a relentless commitment to the game. Court Runners basketball is about competing hard, playing smart, and doing whatever it takes to win together.
