Motown South - PBL- Est. 2013

Change the Mentality, also known as CTM, was founded to address the growing need for safe spaces, consistent mentorship, and meaningful opportunities for talented young people searching for direction and support. Built on the belief that every young person deserves guidance, structure, and the opportunity to believe in themselves, CTM transformed gyms, community rooms, and athletic spaces into environments where leadership, responsibility, confidence, and opportunity could thrive.

After recognizing the gaps in after-school programming and community resources that often left youth vulnerable to negative influences, CTM committed itself to providing consistent mentorship, life skills development, and positive activities designed to help young people pursue brighter futures. Through basketball and community engagement, the organization works to inspire growth both on and off the court while helping youth develop discipline, accountability, and self-belief.

CTM’s mission extends far beyond athletics. As a nonprofit organization, Change the Mentality is dedicated to empowering youth through mentorship, structured athletics, educational support, and workforce readiness programs. The organization strives to build confident, responsible leaders while strengthening families, uplifting communities, and creating long-term positive impact through guidance, opportunity, and support.
