Motor City West - PBL- Est. 2018
East 2 West Basketball was founded by Lloyd “LJ” Harrison and Mikquell Jackson just before the 2018 PBL season, bringing together two competitors with a shared vision for building a tough, disciplined, and highly competitive program. Jackson entered the partnership coming off an undefeated 10-0 regular season with CTM, while Harrison had led his team on a deep playoff run that ended in the Final Four. Both founders used those experiences as motivation to create a franchise built to compete at the highest level.
From the beginning, East 2 West established its identity through toughness, defense, and relentless effort. The organization was created to represent hard-nosed basketball, accountability, and a team-first mentality, with every player expected to compete with intensity and pride every time they step on the court.
East 2 West is more than just a basketball team — it is a culture built on resilience, unity, and the determination to earn respect through hard work and defensive excellence.

Philosophy
At East 2 West, our philosophy is rooted in maintaining the toughness, competitiveness, and defensive mindset that the program was built upon from day one. As a veteran group with years of experience in high-level basketball, we take pride in continuing to compete with intensity, discipline, and passion every time we step on the court.
We embrace the challenge of getting every opponent’s best effort each night and use that as motivation to keep our competitive edge sharp. Our focus is on playing the game the right way, competing at the highest level in the city, and proving that toughness, experience, and team basketball will always matter. East 2 West basketball is about pride, resilience, and sustaining a culture of hard-nosed competition no matter who stands in front of us.
