Motor City West - PBL- Est. 2026

Finish the Game Basketball was built on a simple but powerful mindset: finish what you start. The phrase originated during intense one-on-one battles between the competitors, where games played to 30 often slipped away after reaching 27 or 28 points because of missed opportunities or loss of focus. From those experiences came the phrase “Finish the Game” — a mentality centered on closing out victories no matter the circumstances.

What began as a competitive mindset between friends evolved into the identity of the franchise. Finish the Game represents resilience, discipline, focus, and the ability to execute when it matters most. The organization believes that regardless of how the game unfolds, the ultimate goal is finding a way to finish strong and complete the mission.

The franchise prides itself on toughness, composure under pressure, and a never-quit mentality. Finish the Game is about staying locked in, overcoming adversity, and understanding that success is determined not by how you start, but by how you finish.

Philosophy

At Finish the Game, our philosophy is built around competing at the highest level every single game. We hold ourselves to championship standards and believe that earning respect comes through preparation, discipline, consistency, and proving ourselves every time we step on the court.

Our goal is to become the best team in the PBL, but we understand that nothing is guaranteed and everything must be earned. Past appearances in the Final Four and the PBL Finals have fueled our hunger and sharpened our focus. Those experiences taught us that getting close is not enough — the mission is to finish the job.

This program is driven by accountability, resilience, and a relentless commitment to improvement. Every season starts from zero, and every player is expected to compete with purpose, embrace the grind, and stay focused on one objective: finishing the game and bringing home a championship.
