Founded in 2015, Sommer7 was created from a shared passion for growth, competition, and brotherhood through basketball. What began in the Sam Washington Summer League at the great Saints Cecillia gym quickly became a proving ground for a young team determined to compete against the best talent available. As one of the youngest teams in the league, Sommer7 challenged established players and respected names, building a reputation through toughness, chemistry, and relentless effort.

 

Over the years, many players within the program earned scholarships, professional opportunities, and contracts, but the bond between the team remained strong. Summer basketball became more than competition — it became a time for teammates to reconnect, compete, and enjoy the freedom of the game away from the pressures of their professional lives.
