The Crew Basketball Franchise was founded following a disappointing 2023 season with the Raptors, fueled by a desire to prove something greater was possible. Encouraged by players such as Eric Bell, Elijah Franklin, and Christopher Barton, the decision was made to step into a leadership role, build a new team, and establish a program with a stronger purpose and identity.
At its core, The Crew is built on brotherhood.
While basketball brought the team together, the foundation of the organization extends far beyond the game itself. Through coaching and leadership, strong relationships were developed with players off the court, creating opportunities to mentor, guide, and positively impact their lives beyond basketball.
The Crew represents loyalty, accountability, and genuine belief in one another. The organization is committed not only to helping players compete at a high level, but also to supporting them as individuals and pushing them toward success in every area of life. Built on trust and connection, The Crew is a family-oriented program dedicated to growth, unity, and always wanting the best for its people.

Philosophy
At The Crew, our on-court philosophy is built around toughness, unity, and team-first basketball. Defensively, we pride ourselves on being physical both on the perimeter and in the interior, making opponents uncomfortable and forcing them into difficult, contested, low-quality shots throughout the game.
Offensively, our focus is on making the best basketball play possible every possession. We do not believe in a single number one option or individual-centered basketball. Instead, we emphasize ball movement, trust, and playing together to create quality scoring opportunities for the entire team.
The Crew mentality is simple — there are no individuals, only one united group working toward the same goal. Every player is expected to defend, communicate, sacrifice, and compete for one another on both ends of the floor. Our success is built through togetherness, discipline, and the belief that the strength of the team will always outweigh individual recognition.
