One of the most electric scorers in the PBL is officially on the board.

After a breakout season in 2024 with No Limit, Dwight Burton has registered as a free agent for the upcoming 2025 PBL season. This will definitely send shockwaves through the league and set off a frenzy among team GM and owner's hoping to land the smooth-scoring guard.

Burton’s lone season with No Limit was nothing short of spectacular. He averaged 18.9 points per game across eight appearances, boasting an efficient 51.6% shooting from the field and a lethal 62.1% effective field goal percentage. Known for his ability to score from all three levels, Burton also knocked down 36.5% of his shots from deep and got to the line consistently hitting 90.9% of his free throws.

His best individual performance? A 26-point clinic on 66.7% shooting, including 4 threes in just 28 minutes of work—proof of the damage he can do when given the keys to the offense.

Over the winter, Burton has been lacing them up in the highly competitive Crosstown Basketball League, running with CTM. Word from inside that locker room is that CTM is doing everything in their power to keep him around and bring him aboard for the 2025 PBL season. Chemistry has been building, and CTM's front office reportedly sees Burton as the missing piece that could turn them from playoff hopeful to title contender.

Still, Burton hasn’t committed—and that will give the rest of the league hope in securing his services.

He’s a proven bucket-getter with the potential to lead a team’s offense, and at just 29.5 minutes per game, he’s already shown he can deliver elite production without wearing down.
